General Contractor

After founding his business in 1959, David J. Tierney, Jr. founded his business in 1959 and incorporated it in 1963. Initial work as a general contractor included residential subdivision development, where the company performed most of the work. For over twenty years, general contracting was our primary business. From it, we learned how to best sequence work and resources in many situations.

Today, we continue to lead significant projects as a general contractor. For larger projects, we are often a subcontractor in areas such as concrete or carpentry for roofing, siding, doors, frames, hardware, drywall, millwork, etc. We completed the concrete subcontract at Mass MoCA’s Building 6, the concrete subcontract at the new Taconic High School, and various siding subcontracts for large projects throughout the county.
